I Give Up.... A Moonkin's Tale (Very Long)

I wasn't always a moonkin. Back before BC I was a resto druid. I was the main resto druid for my guild that raided a little more than halfway through Naxx. The problem was, healing was pretty boring. So what did I do? I rolled a rogue and spent most of my time outside of Naxx raids on him. I even brought him through some BWL and AQ20 runs.

Well, then the Burning Crusade came out and it was time to level my druid up. I sure wasn't going to do it as resto. I already had a character with an energy bar that did melee DPS. So I decided to try going moonkin with a few random pieces of gear I had picked up from AQ40 that no one wanted.

Totem Talk: So you're still playing that shaman...

Totem Talk is the column for shamans. Matthew Rossi plays a couple of shamans. And he's embarrassed to admit that he forgot that he hadn't finished his series of columns about how to level a shaman. No excuse, no justification, he just plain forgot. So here and now we continue the interrupted series with a look at levels 41 - 58. We'll get back to elemental gear, I promise.

Parts one and two of the series got you up to level 40. You're wearing mail (most likely the Scarlet Monastery blues, especially for aspiring enhancement shamans) and ready to begin the march to Outland. Well, the first thing you'll need to do is find a place to start adventuring! Well, okay, the first thing you'll need to do is train your new level 40 abilities, and you'll keep having to do that as time passes. Then you'll need to find a place to go adventuring, mainly to pay for things like training.

Two amusing RL events involving WoW

So WoW has touched RL for me twice in the past couple weeks, both in rather amusing ways. Thought I would share them with you guys.

First one : So a few days ago I went to a concert in Detroit, and after the concert, my friends and I (all of whom play WoW) took the Detroit People Mover (aka, just a monorail).

So these two guys walk in to the cart we are sitting in, we did not pay much attn. I took another glance at the two shortly after the monorail started moving. One was wearing a "world of warcraft" T-shirt, and the other was wearing a "For the Horde" T-shirt. Oh man..a monorail cart full of addicts, this should be fun right? So I begin looking at the one guys face in an attempt to make eye contact. Finally when our eyes meet, he looks at me, then looks at his friend, and the both look at the ground and move closer to each other. I ignored their odd behaviour and simply said "Hey, what server?" with a smirk on my face, hoping to make friendly conversation.

Why i dont like Rogues

Rogues are annoying, i think the class attributes provide the 'rogue mentality' with the perfect tools to be irritating.

hit the reply button

hit the reply button - at the top there's an "insert picture" button (it looks like a yellow envelope) where you put in the link for the picture. Since you said it's on your computer you need to join a site like: http://imageshack.us/ so that you can have the picture "hosted" so that you can get a regular link to insert into forums etc. Then you can use that account for whenever you want to post a picture from your computer. This can be used at any forum or site that allows you to post a picture (many users here use that site). It takes about 5 mins to sign up and upload that picture, and it's easy to do.
